I’ve tried to use this app multiple times (free version) with and without ad blocking through my VPN to test the difference. With and without ads present, the app constantly freezes when checking for prices. I’ve tried everything, vpn, no vpn, WiFi, no WiFi, reinstalling. I just can’t get it to work, my take on it is why would I commit to the pro version if the free version doesn’t work.

My friend and I both downloaded it and we both have the same phone but his is just the pro version (meaning it’s just bigger and little better graphics for gaming on your phone), but it worked for him but everything on my screen was all black except for each option on the bottom and when I click scan it was just all white with a small ad at the bottom. At first I was like “okay maybe I just need to watch the ad” but not even that. I clicked on it and it just brings up a little AppStore tab and I swipe done for no and nothing changed. I also allowed all the things it wanted and deleted it and redownloaded it twice and still the same results.

Does not work

I never was able to scan one item with the free version of this app. All I got when I scanned were ads. Deleted immediately

AARP Magazine recommended this app but it doesn’t work unless you sign up for another scanner app that charges a monthly fee!!!

This app will cause you to overpay.

I used to use this app when I was traveling abroad, it’s nice. But when I updated to the latest version, it always hung there at a blank screen. Please fix it! Runs on iPhone 15 pro,iOS 18.1.1

Blank white screen everywhere on the app. Please fix :( completely unusable

It’s appears to be feature lite for my use. I’d like the option to filter the sites it searches and it would be great to get a price range in the search so I don’t have to click on every product to see it. Also, better integration with iOS apps so when you click on a store it prompts the app to open and doesn’t open a browser page.

All I see is a blank screen. Apparently this app is no longer supported and should be removed from the App Store.

New version is not working at all.

Smart & savvy shopping starts here!! I have been utilizing this app for years!! It’s without a doubt my go-to app for finding the best prices for what I’m looking for closest to me. I do not write reviews often but ShopSavvy earns a 5 star ⭐️ shout out!!

I just received an alert on 12/24/2024 that my favorite perfume was $10 on a specific site. When I clicked on the link, it was 115 bucks. That is not the alert I received.

No support whatsoever, very outdated since it first came out, can’t change your email, poor job price checking compared to other apps.

Tried it on several products. Wasted my time clicking on many spots just to get to the product details. Takes way too long for it to scan all the e merchants. Then doesnt display a single price. This is yet another garbage app that should not exist.

Doesn’t work. Don’t waste your time.

I understand you use Ads, but they are very misleading and try to trick you into installing numerous barcode scanners!

I’ve only used it a couple times now, but I really don’t understand it. It came up with grocery stores that are nowhere near me like they are entire states away. Yes it is using my location. And. And it doesn’t check any local grocery stores Stop & Shop, Shaws, Whole Foods. I don’t understand what good at this is. It’s not comparing prices. It gives me the price at Walmart and Walgreens. Walmart is a 45 minute drive. Yes Stop & Shop and Shaws and Whole Foods are right down the street so for me this app doesn’t make any sense at all. I’m not driving 45 minutes to buy a product. That’s a few dimes cheaper.

Can’t get past the second screen of the initial tutorial. App freezes so I just deleted. Tried downloading it at different times, updated my iPad, etc. so, I give up

I did like this app. But now when I scan something all I get is adds. This really turned into junk. I am looking for an app that works well.

i have had problems with the app for years it’s good when it works but more often than not it’s broke. having a white screen and no app functionality right now on iphone 15.

Doesn’t even load

If you buy stuff, and we all do, you are only hurting yourself and your wallet by NOT using this app. A must have game changer in the US. This is the app big box stores don't want you to know about!!!!

Just downloaded… encountered blank screens. Uninstalling.

Now always takes forever and comes up with no results!

This used to be a really good app. Now it never finds any prices. I thought it may be because the expansion wasn’t installed but it is and it is still no good at all. I got it to run but only scans for Internet prices.

Just downloaded this app and it’s just blank no function idk what I’m doing wrong or if it’s no longer running.

I bought some headphones on Amazon thinking I got the best deal. Tried it put while I could still return them. This app found them $40 less than any retailer I searched manually in seconds. I’m thrilled! I’ll be using it regularly now!

I can’t scroll without clicking on something and it opening my browser app.

Can’t reliably find items that have been confirmed to be sold at target.

For a long time, this was my go to app saving money however, something happened about six months ago to a year that completely changed this app for the worse. it went from being my go to to getting deleted as the searches take forever in the results are rarely accurate or even there. It usually can’t find any items that are scanned.

Tried searching and scanning but it doesn’t work today. Yesterday I scanned an item and it returned a result that was. Nothing like what u scanned.

The app is overall great and I will definitely still be using it but some of the products show inaccurate or invalid shipping prices for Amazon which can get confusing. I think that it may be showing what shipping would cost if you are not an Amazon Prime member? It would be pretty helpful if there were a way that the app could show the shipping costs for Prime Members too since they’re not always the same.

I was hoping for store prices clearly stated

I’ve had this app for many years and it was always really helpful. Doesn’t seem like it works anymore though.. just loads forever after you scan something. Been that way for a few months now.

Advertised as both Bar & QR Code scanner. NO!!! After downloading, only a QR Code Scanner. iPhone already has this in the Camer. VERY misleading and difficult to cancel MANDATORY Subscription after a 3 Day Trial. *** AVOID ***

I dodged a billet. I had heard such great things about this app. It’s clear from reading negative reviews that new ownerships need to make a quick buck had transformed the app and diminished its value and functionality. Apparently ‘sponsored’ sites are now mainly online retailers, and few hits are for brick and mortar. Shame. Many poor reviews go unanswered by app developers. Avoid installing it!

i was excited but the app would not load no matter what i searched for. it just kept loading and loading. it was not my connection either cause everything else worked.

I was really excited to use this app to compare prices but unfortunately it has major technical issues…

I love this app, not only for when I am shopping in stores so I can price compare but also when I’m at a garage sale and item is still in the box. I can get the current price of anything just about.

Don’t buy this before reading most recent reviews. Wasted my money never worked.

Terrible

Initially the app worked great, but for the past several months it no longer searches proactively for price updates or gives me any notifications. It will only work I I go to a specific item in my search list and force an update for each item.

Shows only most expensive options & doesn’t actually include local stores. Skip this one, shoppers. You’ll only end up paying more.
